Born in korea in 1961, Chang learned the art of Oriental painting from the

great korean master Hoh Baek Ryun.

To widen her artistic abilities and senses, she went to the United States to

Study the western and senses.

Though Chang has enjoyed tremendous success as an artist, her personal life is

one that has seen much heartache. She has decided not to allow her suffering

to hold her back as an artist or a mother.

Rather, in the tradition of poets,writers,musicians and other artists who use

their suffering as a source of inspiration, Chang has reached deep within

herself to strengthen her talent and resolve as a painter. The passion of

her work, the vividness and clarity of her vision , springs from a heart

that is full of emotion and has cried many tears.
