Kim Sohee(b.1990) graduated from the Department of Fine Art at Hongik
University and is doing a master's course at the same school.
She reinterprets the nature by taking a walk or using images of the nature from
the virtual world. She focuses on the boundaries between the figurative and
abstract art by using accidental collision and effects of materials from exploring
media via flat painting work using Marbling paints and Oil painting. She depicts
the anxiety of reality by expressing vague boundaries and using a melting effect
with mediums. Her art also questions the imperfectness inside of this anxiety.
