I would sincerely like to show respect for plenty of inspiration and motivation in artworks of genuine artists,

How to Appreciate Masterpieces in Galleria Jang

First, connect with the masterpieces.

Second, Look from your heart.

Third, Read the history, culture, politics, religions, society, and spirits of the times that provided their inspriration.

For example, if you appreciate Rembrandt's work, you will be able to appreciate the works of Da Vinci, Van Gogh, Cezanne,

which show realism through the harmony of light, and feel the delightfulness in

appreciating the masterpieces as comparing the works of the a realist artist like Courbet.

You would probably realize why this painting is a masterpiece,

wonder if you were just living a mundane routine of your life, and think how much of inspiration you have given all through your life.

You might have to awaken yourself to inspire your delicate senses and be finally longing for the original ones in appraising the masterpieces.

You may conclude either a compliment or a criticism, just by appreciating the masterpiece,

if only we could discover our feelings somewhat contrite, or perhaps abashed.

How incautious and foolish we may have been, giving any kinds of criticism even though we didn't even know much about the delicate beauty and artistry.

Only then, we will finally begin to appreciate the masterpieces in our heart beyond the walls of our times.

The creator of an artwork should be able to create the work by giving one's empathy and value to it and projecting the incessant talent of the artist.

It is also true that there is a widespread expansion in the base through diversity of materials in the changes of times.

Art is meant to instill a myriad of emotions in the beholder, which means the artwork seems just like the way one desires to see.

Our response to art always depends on what we know. Since the beginning of human

history, art has been a part of our lives. We must recognize that the influences of religion, politics, scholarship,

history, and all other fields that are intended for human desires pursuing the beauty of life.

If we look at Koryo mural paintings, they can be devalued as primitive artistic expression,

but if we see them with eyes of our heart somewhere beyond, we can truly see the life of our ancestors.

We are looking for history in the artworks that reflect the times that change according to the environmental variations,

and it will arouse the beholders to enthusiasm, aspiring to endless creative arts by reminding

 the spirit of that time.

One philosopher says that he finds all the answers in mathematics, however,

he perhaps did not know the variation of lines and beauty of design in magnificent structures, or delicate literary expression in our

 artistic areas.

In expressing colors, the fascinating beauty of colors, such as the delicate colors in subtle light refraction,

how can it be possible to express them, philosophically, mathematically or literally?

There might be a time when you got impressed by the innocent expression from a genius young artist.

However, the more people learn about something, the more they will overlay on the innocent artistic pursuit.

As they overlay and boost their exclusive emotions, you may have seen things that stay no longer

innocent. I just feel a strong desire by the agony of living in times of reality with zigzag policy in art and culture.

That there are so many so-called artists creating artworks with knowledge that comes from their head, not from their heart,

without knowing and understanding the nature or even themselves.

Yet, I would sincerely like to show respect for plenty of inspiration and motivation in artworks of genuine artists,

Park Seobo, Park Byeongjun, Kim Hwangi, Park Sooguen,

Jung Kyungyeon,   Jang Hyelim,  Chae Rim,

Presidential Citation Willian Jefferson Bill Clinton Artist : Platon Kim,

Noh-Jasseung  .Seol-Kyungchul,  jung-jiseok,   Jo -youngshin,   oh-wonbae,

Kwak-sukson  ,shin-sukja,

Lee-bora,

Nobel Prize in literature : Seo Jeong-ju

Seo-killsoonchung-sunjinson-wonhee,  chae-youngjoo,  park,jukyung,

kang-myeongja, kim-youngja, lee-hongwon, and more.

The artworks of these excellent artists that can compete with any artist in the world have become the cornerstone of development in Korean art.

Their works were exhibited at the New York Art Expo and I am so

proud to say, our Korean artist chae,Rim, won the First prize in 2017_2018, which is thought provoking and inspiring to us all.
