The petite but sturdy body resembles a small beer cup. After the surface was polished, a design of abstract mums was inlaid in black and white on the front. This brush holder has an octagonal form, eight distinct sides, with eight angles shaped around the mouth and on the bottom. Tere is beautiful balance all around, and the technique was very advanced for its time. With its unique color, this container is a memorable and noteworthy masterpiece representing a very creative time in Korean arts.
