When she went over to the United States in 1989 and settled in Princeton, she pursued further study with a major in Sculpture at FIT. She received the Culture Aweard that is a great honor for painters by attempting to integrate Western painting with Oriental painting. She has developed her own friendly style or painting in which she has usually expressed the beauty and surrounding environment of Princeton.
